Here's a selection of complementary 'out-takes' from some of the customer feedback we've had. It didn't seem right to keep it to ourselves!
About our edible produce:
from Carmarthenshire: "We had a leg of mutton last weekend - slow roasted, and it was beautiful - very tender and very succulent and tasted fantastic!!" from the Vale of Glamorgan: "the steaks were enjoyed by one and all. More importantly, considered delicious by Abbie who, though just turned 12, regards herself as something of an expert when it comes to cooking and eating steak - she bagged the sirloin before I could get a look in!"
from County Durham: "shin [off and on the bone] and diced beef - added homegrown carrots, red onions and garlic to make delicious stew. 3 hours in slow simmer oven made it a rich concoction - the meat was excellent from raw [good deep colour, pleasant smell and right size pieces] to final tender results - and the bone added marrow to the gorgeous gravy [or was that the dregs of red wine?]." and "Little rack of lamb. WOW - just luscious - so tender - melted in the mouth - gorgeous" from Cardiff: "Sirloin, rump and rib consumed to date. All of it extremely good. Very tasty and tender. Buttery sirloin. Rib cooked well and easily. Needed no exciting accompaniements [sic] or sauces just a glass of good red wine!" and "We're thinking of getting a bigger freezer for Ystrad produce!" from Monmouthshire: "super flavour, good bite, not at all chewy, much more tender than any rump steak I have previously had" and another time "your meat is very well presented - much better than any I have ever bought locally or online." from London: "... the meat is delicious. A friend called in when I was making the stew and said what a fabulous smell!" from Powys: "Do let me know when other boxes are available as the year goes on. We had a the rolled shoulder of mutton for lunch yesterday and everyone remarked how "tasty" it was. Let us hope that it brings you some converts . That crusted recipe was well worth doing." from Glasgow: "I have to say that the service from Ystrad Organics has been superb – I am wondering which ‘pack’ to order next!"
